Project Overview
This packaging project was developed for a multi-part coding system that included distributors, power supplies, and other installation components. Because many packages shared similar sizes and structures, installers often selected the wrong part on site — leading to delays, repeated trips, and reinstallation work.
The packaging system was redesigned to improve rapid recognition, clear differentiation between parts, and better guidance during installation. It was conceived not only for branding and retail presentation, but to reduce errors and support speed, clarity, and confidence during on-site work.
Design Challenge
- Several components looked very similar in storage and on site — same size boxes, same dark graphic style
- Installers often selected the wrong unit during installation, causing costly return trips
- Missing or lost manuals slowed work and increased stress on site
- The packaging needed to stay consistent with Electropeyk branding while helping installers quickly recognize each part at a glance
Design Response
To reduce confusion, a simple colour-coded edge system was introduced using narrow coloured lines — red, blue, yellow, green — to distinguish different product types at a glance. The box bottoms were used to display key installation connection diagrams, so installers could quickly access guidance without searching for the manual.

System Coherence
Across all five packaging variants, the shared visual language holds: the dark dot-textured base, the ELECTROPEYK logotype treatment, the green product name typography, and the large component photography on the primary face. What changes is the coloured stripe — the one signal an installer needs at arm's length in a storage van or on a wall of similar boxes.
The bottom of each box carries the system wiring diagram specific to that component — its installation context printed where it will actually be read, during the job, not before it.
